From: Mur the Sage

It was early in the afternoon on Monday and Mur was leaving the isle after checking up on his little cronies in the shop. Closing the door to the extra-dimensional space in the shop, he seemingly just picked it up and headed out the door. It may have looked like he was carrying a poster of some sort, but in his hands he had the whole of that little pocket space. He lit his pipe, his ruptured mind wandering to the night he had planned out. He took a brisk walk down by the lagoon, following it around the southern edge of the isle. He set the opening to the space against a tree and without breaking stride, placed a spell over it to hide it from prying eyes.
His mind wandered to the coming night's events as he walked towards the mountains.  Climbing to the top of one of them, he perched himself on an outcropping of stone that gave him a bird's eye view of the isle.  To see the view through Mur's eyes at that point in time would have to be dreadful. A distorted mix of color and form dominated most of his field of vision, and unknown voices and visions haunted him throughout the day. Indeed, the very last strand of sanity had finally snapped. His life now only knew unrestrained calamity.
Settling down into a seat upon the outcropping, he attempted to ignore his perceptions for awhile and think only of the coming night's events. As he filled his mind with a vision of the bright green gem Pathfinder, he began to feel a warm fuzzy feeling inside. The night ahead had been too long in the making. It had been around five years since he had first seen the green gem in Falablah's hands amidst the isle. That time and every one afterwards with the gem in his presence he had been filled with the same relaxing feeling.  He knew there was a power contained within that he could tap to regain his sanity, but did not know why.
Four thousand years of life had made him insane, the slow trickle of time combined with the continual loss of every other he had came in contact with made him insane. As the tides slowly wear even stone thin over years, the same with his mind. But those years had also made him patient. But now the wait was over, and he rose from the cliff quickly fading as he started his journey to the Outback. If he could keep it together for just one more night, all would be well. If he did not or if he were to fail, he would be left to deal with unending calamity until the very stars were to burn out.

It was only an hour after the fight, and Mur was growing weary as the will that had carried him through the evening was growing thin. The evening was half-way successful in that Mur indeed did win the gem, but he was not able to gain possession of it that night. He would have to wait until the Outback had it in the office or until Angelina sent it to him.
He snarled to himself as he arrived back at the isle, engaging another in a duel before heading back to the portal. As he left, he felt that he had forgotten something. He was unaware of the instructions and plans he had left to the golems that were hiding out on the isle. Shrugging his shoulders, he made his exit through the portal.
He would return to Sektor and maybe hole up in his wife's palace for awhile. He felt semi-safe there, despite the destruction he had accidentally wrought the last time he was in the palace. He disappeared through the portal ignorant of the destructive night his golems were preparing for.
